Inline with the Government\'s freedom of information act, you can now get access to speed camera offences registered in the last year....

Interestingly, every time your car goes past a speed camera even 1 mph over the set limit it is registered and put on a database. Generally tickets are only issued if you are way over the speed limit, but also if you receive over 20 near misses! Thats\' why you hear of people being fined for 34 mph in a 30 limit area whilst others doing 39 do not. You can check what has been registered against your vehicle at the following address

our glorious leader is currently trying to get the discretionary margin removed - currently 37 in a 30, 79 in a 70, so 31 in a 30 and your nailed

if you\'ve been collared, do some research, a lot of camera installation are technically illegal, if the speed limit sign does not exactly match the guidelines in the road traffic act it isn\'t enforceable, and if the camera site does not have all the correct road markings and signs at the correct distance before and opposite the sign it isn\'t enforceable. and if you don\'t get the NIP (notice of intended prosecution) within 14 days they can\'t bust you either. just got 6 points back off my licence by challenging them

Question.
If you go throught the first spped camera and are clocked speeding, but dont slow down and procede through a further five speed cameras, are you only speeding the once or are you speeding six times?

your speeding 6 times

the A34 in staffordshire is notorious, theres a long straigh stretch with a cammera every mile or so, and several people have clocked up 12 points in as many minutes

there\'s another curiosity to the law regarding camera evidence, and a couple of cases have been one on this scenario, now, my car is minging, haven\'t cleaned it all winter, so te number plate is hardly legible. Id a camera clocks a car like that, they have to look at the image in negative to read the plate, a couple of guy have challenged this, claiming that it is image enhancement, thus make the evidence in-admissable and they won!

The latter I\'m afraid Mike. I live on the A34 and there are enough speed cameras in the 3 mile stretch outside my house (not that it\'s 3 miles wide mind you) to end up banned. Now all they do is speed between them.
