I am after 5/0 or 6/0 trebble hooks, used 100 last year so after 50-100 again this year..some shops dont know what to charge for them.

aye richie, and some do:exclam: i tend to buy mine at flash tackle,theyre a pretty cheap looking hook,but never let me down,although probably never really tested on a decent fish, i had some from that shop in roker avenue i cant remember the name,bloke called andys got the shop.the hooks were a blue colour,but must have been priced ok for this jock to buy them

Also been trying out VMC Faultless hooks on the jigs and they seem to be the dogs dangley bits.

Got the trebles off ebay for 17p each mustad, cant complain at that price..give the assit hooks a miss i think, seems a lot of exra fuss for 1 jig

29 pirks painted and ready so thats me set for 3 trips if i am lucky

I still find it hard to take with no treble on the bottom so I might just try a few ... maybe just a small 5/0 treble
