its called maver joint repair i have some paul and if you can drop the rod at mine sometime will do it for u for free

spigot problem

I have used the maver spray on poles, and it's good, just dont get too carried away with it, remember pole joints do not have the same loading on them, or the same type of loading, you get casting.
Rocketmans offer is very generous and he has obviously used it before.

One other possibility I had the same problem with my Century BB, and my brothers SS, Century reworked them both, as new, £17.50 apiece. Try Conoflex they might be able to help, you need to pay courier though ?
