5p a crab young man, no nets mind and make sure you hide a few under your grandad's pillow :D You look like you might be the best crab catcher in the world so I'm a bit worried - I might have to start saving up.

cheapskate!

10p a crab, 20p for any you find hiding in your gramps' beard and tell him you need some mackeral from his secret mackeral stash for bait

How man I've seen the young team take double figures on one drop round Claxheugh rock. 2 hours - could be looking at a couple of hunnert crab :o

Big Money:exclam:

cheers lads thats a start, way behind another web site though. Got all the bait sorted, kept some mackerel heads from the Ian woods baot comp and got some big chunks of ling spine, kept from a donation from Jimmy Cassidy. Think we have enough bait, but only have one big barrel to keep the crabs in.

Great Idea - Put me down for 15p a crab and if you can get a photo of your Gramps with 3 crabs holding on to his Beard i will add another £5

over to you Al :D:D

Hello Lewis,

Crab catching, like birdsnesting and sinker losing, is an age old skill that should be preserved and past on from one generation to the next.

I'll sponser you £20 regardless of how many you catch.

Good luck, Ian

wow Ian, he will be over the moon when I tell him, that is very generous, or could be very wise, he is quite good at it, but it is in a very good cause.

cheers lads, I will put the address up after the event where they can be sent to, I think fishfinder ahs already dropped his off at Frasers. The little lad will be over the moon.Think I have seen the end of the mackerel Steve, but you never know.
