hi just bought some squid from the show in china town and its areet just asking what way is the best to put it on ya hook?

if u cut tiny pieces off u can put it on like mackerel and use it to tip off bait

For Cod...I fish whole squid on a pulley pennell rig or use it to wrap around lugworm, making a squid wrap.
Both ways, the squid needs to be lashed with bait elastic.

If fishing for flatties, use squid in strips and tip off ragworm baits with it.

Good tips dazzer, if they are the mini Squid you can also stuff them with Mussel and tie them on with bait elastic too a few little pricks with the end of your knife or scissors just before you cast, so the juices run out. Nothing to stop you using Ragworm Lugworm or even both together at the same time, more scent more chance.
