Hi mate,
I had me first trip of the season yesterday in my boat (Carol Ann). Must have seen you as I fished the same area. The fishing was very slow, but I managed 6 codling up to 3lbs, and an 8.5lbs Ling. All on bait, and all whilst anchored. Tried drifting for the last hour without a bite. Very enjoyable day, and the weather was unreal for March. Shirt sleeves by 9.30am !

My boats an old Microplus 502, white and blue with a cabin. Didn't move much at all. anchored for most of the day (with better results), but did drift around St Mary's for about an hour..................without a bite !
