Decided to have a day on shields pier with my mate. About 10 mins after setting up and casting out the rod went and I ended up with a nice Plaice.

After taking a quick pic i was about to throw it back but the bloke who i was chatting to said he ate them so give it to him. I had another smaller flatty and my mate had a codling, coley and a small pollock.

Then we decided to move down towards the toilet block to see if there was anything else about. We didnt have much on the big rods but i had a nice size pollock using a float on my light rod and head hooked rag.

After that we were catching a load of small stuff so decided to call it a day on the pier but all in all was a decent day.
