fished south shields just after nrigade hut with beach boy and his mate alan .

on sunday 5pm-9pm/

fished a variety of baits macky herring squid runnydown cart.

alan had this fish which i believe to be an eelpout.

he also had another flatty myself had two personal smallest codlings codlets. but beat the blank. it was a poor night fishing even the whitings were no show. hopefully the codlet passed the message on to his ma and da to takke my bait the next time. cheers to beach boy for the journey and support. much appreciated mate.

South Shields almost looks pretty in that first picture

There were no Whiting on Roker Sunday night either, just bits and pieces of small stuff close in. And I think the Eelpout is a Rockling of some description (shore?), the head looks the wrong shape for a Vivaporous Blenny...
