fished ssp 2 day from 9.45am 4pm not one other person on the pier till around 12 noon.
bait for the day rag bluey, squid, sandeel , macky, black lug. two pies and a can of pop. sweet FA all day apart from crabs nicking ya bait my m8 got a small flatty returned.
any way grand day out in the fresh air always next time

Me and Alex and fishingmark were on the 44/45 for a bit last night, just a few coleys and dabs. There was a few codling caught up the end by the lads fishing the locker comp. but still not a lot of fish about at the minute...they'll be back though!

it was a poor day all round lads that came down later had the odd small colies but nowt to write home about, you get good days and bad days but that's fishing for you.:red:
be a week or so before me and my m8 are back out again but an enjoyable day anyway, its just that tramp along the pier 44 & 45 shots, by the time we get there we are nackered
we are thinking of giving marsden beach a go next outing can anyone inform me of some of the shots as its must be 10 years ago since last down there.
is there any reports on the progress on roker pier maintenance work :question:
heard nowt for a long time.
