St marys saturday

Decided to give st marys a shot over low water.fished 2 down n 2 up.
Started off fishing to the right hand side of the pillar casting beyond the gully.after about an hour with not a bite i decided to move over to the other side of the island fishing staight behind the stairs and within 5 minites fish on.just a small cod but i was happy that i hadnt blank.
Over the next cuple hours it was none stop bites.ended up with 6 cod all undersize and went bk to fight another day.sorry no pics accidently left me phone in the car baites used were rag mussel and crab but suprisingly most fish went for a strait rag bait.

welldone m8 small but you didnt blank never fished there but hoping to go up soon

Chearz and i better than a blank.n u should get yoursel up , its a cracking mark on its day and evan better fun in the summer for the wrasse on the light gear

Well done mate better than nowt last time I was there a month bk I got a nice red codling canny rough ground but good mark

I its definatly rough ground alryt.never fished it through the winter so looking forward to giving it a go when theres abit sea on.

well done m8 always worth a shot st marys . try curry point when the winter season starts m8 just park your car in the first car park at st marys and go down the embankment to where the railings are just fish off the walkway its a top water mark and fishes well on a good northerly
