Well we have it every year started by different members, this year i think i must be the one thats the most bored so here it is :).........

What is everyone wishing for this season (not including good weather days, we all wish that).....

Me

A cod or ling over 20lb again

To master the new boat and its electronics quick

To have a trouble free season with the new boat

To see more sea wildlife than i have seen in one season before

To have long spells of settled weather :)

To get another 20lb+ cod :)

To get Deano a 20lb + cod :)

To have a safe trouble free season...:)

apart from a good variation of species, to take the wife out on a nice warm calm day and meet up with the massive pod of dolphins I saw last year about three miles out swimming and jumping around the boat.

I'll go for a safe and trouble free season aswell please :) ,

Would be happy with a double figure cod and pollack,

A few short sessions out with my little lad this year and to see his face with a couple of mackeral on his line would make my season alone :) ,

Or aye .... world peace aswell :D

Have to get the antifouling and big engine service out the way first tho, fingers crossed all goes well with this.

Trouble, accident and incident free Lovely Days Out.
A new personal best would be very nice.
Getting used to the new lady in my life "On A Roll”.
Sharing the deck with the same familiar faces.

Well let's hope we all get our dreams .... Mine would be to catch a double figure cod ..... To catch a ling ..... To go to the Graveyard ( the fishing venue) :)

My 2 aims for this season would have to be a double Ling & to get at least 1 Tope during our jaunt to Luce Bay.
I will keep trying to beat my 17lb 7oz Cod PB although that may be a big ask & I will be happy with a few doubles.

Plenty days afloat with good company will do to make up for missing out on the winter season due to my mishap lol

Next year mate, will see about getting a group of 8 together, as long as I am working I plan on going each year but I still fancy soroya for a risk sometime.

Well Graham it is 3 weeks until On-A-Roll gets its name changed, launched and the below gets broken over the bow......

:)

That wouldn't be the bottle of bubbly I won from the Royal Quays comp by any chance Richy it will be put to good use in the re-naming ceremony if it it.

Give over that was gone 2 days after it was picked up :)

This is top quality Shampa's from Asda, only the best at £5 a bottle ha

Not long now Graham, boats test for all the extras added this weekend if that wind drops off and then lift out paint and fishing :)

Well me and my dad has spent two days getting the boat ready for the season, a lick of paint and anodes changed....bit of a polish then the cod and ling have no hiding place :)

:)
