Its a strange old game this fishing lark.

I mean you can fish a mark/wreck for a couple of weeks and not get a bite then you go the next day and its buzzing with fish..i wonder if the fish are there and just not feeding or is itsomething that attracts them all of a sudden.

Sure lot sof people have found this..maily with wrecks...you stop off for a few drifts every weekend and get nothing or just the one, then the next time you go tis fish after fish but the wreck 1/4 mile away is dead.

Anyway its a strang eold game..you can tell am bored :)

if you had the answer you would be very clever.as you say its a strange thing this fishing thing.

I often wonder about when fish "switch on" , you hear of it all the time , "we had nothing for two hours then they went mad for an hour". Are they there all the time but just not feeding or are they on the move and passing through for the hour they are "switched on"?
Like you say Rich , it's a strange old game :)

I have been to wrecks before which where showing lots of fish on the souder and not caught a thing, then returned a couple of hours later and they where taking anything you dropped down.

got to say this is the main topic of conversation on EVERY trip out :)
but still no solution .............

I use tides .......... it's best shot

I agree the tides is about the only way i know of to help increase the chance of them being on the feed....its amazing how you can drift a wreck time after time, pop to a new one then go back 1hr later when the time has dropped/changed and bang every drift.

Part of the fun i guess.

Hoping the ling start showing, got a few nagging people at work after them since March lol
