can i first start by saying happy new year and all the best to every one for 2009. im looking for some info heading up too stranrear monday coming been up befor during the summer but never fished it this late on in the year any advise on were to fish thanks paul tight lines every one!!!!!!!!!!

Not much coming out of Loch Ryan at the minute, but I've heard there are a few fish just North of Portpatrick (Whiting, dogs and a few small codling).

To be honest, I'd either save your petrol money, or go to NE Scotland instead.

Yup ya best of going to arbroth ne scottland much better youl be wasting your time on the west coast
