Stupid Bloody Sheep

Been throwing leads tonight at my mates farm, Quite a big field, so how come every time i set up to cast with the wind, the bloody sheep keep grazing into my court! After repeated attempts to chase them off, i went home before i got locked up for bieng a wrong un! Any suggestions how to move these grass munchin meddlers! :question: :question: :question:

oo RR im A FARMER I SAY get yer self a quad bike with some sheep feed, on t back and they will follow u for a good 500yrds,then drop food and go back 2 were you were going to cast an fire 1 off,thats just my way of thinking.or try the man thing,,,,not my cup of tea,,,lol,,,,haaaaaa

Dont need to take the flock much over 200 yds to be safe for my casts! Just thought, can anyone get there hands on any foot and mouth, green lush fields to myself, no animals, no sheep or cow s--t to stick in my soles:exclam: , fields are for casting not farming!!! sorry am i going off on one!

and you can turn veggie, and eat all the grass

you ought to know u aint going to get any sense on here

biggest thing that is going to spoil the casting in north east is places to practise casting .some believe practise does,nt help i think it does and it is a good get together if a few practising swapping and changing ideas plus the crack. could do with a bigger field in north east also my opion.
if they would stop building factory units etc it would leave me ground space they build the bloody things then nobody occupies the bloody things so angry

Didn't think i'd get any sense here, thats why i registered on this site! But on a slightly serious note, decent places to practice are a problem unless you have a farmer mate who takes pity on you. sports fields are ideal as ther kept short, but casting is dangerous in public places (plus joe public think were all nutjobs)! You'd think nowadays with sports and lottery funding that a flat 400yd square field could be bought for this minority sport, somewhere in a central location to all the northern casting clubs (nwsa,kirkleathem,ssa?) could be used for weekend club comps and practice for a small fee. They wouldn't even have to put up a building for us. Just think a field kept short all year round, (i'll provide the lawnmower) and not essential to recover crackoffs at the end of the day happy days

can,t be fussy at my age. all i can say was , my wooly bird was a goer. she did,nt say baa-baa , she said more more.
i,ve arranged to meet up at benlech next time for a flock - bang.
