posted on 22/10/2004 at 14:56Got to the big beach in south shields for 6.20pm. Had a fish a cast for three casts coalies aboot a 1lb.
Big beach - 6 Coalies and a bass 1lb and 1/2.
First ever Bass
Left the beach at 1am ish Walked all the way to velva (Shields Walkway)
Whiting every cast for four casts about 1lb.
Caught eight whiting then they just died off.
So it was time for the coddys to play oot. Got a nice codling of (3 1/2lb)
Then went yem at 6am.
Overall catch:
8 Whiting to 7lb
6 Coalies to 5lb
1 Bass 1 1/2lb
1 Cod 3 1/2lb
