Forecast for Sunday looks calm, so there should be some good scope for a few fish. I was getting all geed up to go out, then remembered I have a wedding to go to at Beamish, so that's my fishing plans scuppered. Never mind though, Monday looks like the same forecast. WOOHOOOOOO!

Nice to able to pick your days , same old same today nice day but strong wind, its the way the summer will go so the men that get all the money say. No one will be fishing from the Royal Quays the marina lock work is taken a few days lobger than planned, not like i am bothered still a few weeks away for me before i wet a line.

That’s right Arthur, rub it in that the forecast looks good, fish are starting to show and we’re lock-bound until mid-week now. I’ll use the break productively and fire up the foundry to make a few weights.

I got the garden fence painted through the week, while it was windy, so I could fish Sunday...............Doh!
