Fished the tide up at the barrier, but on the bay side. Conditions not ideal, and a right chill in the wind. Had the bairn with me, and after a couple of hours, some bites but no fish, went to the shelter of the marina. Never got my rod back out, but the bairn enjoyed herself catching crabs and a half pound coaley. Canny day tho, but me head is as red as a beetroot. Used rag and macky on the pier. Probably would have caught later in the tide, but me heart just wasn't in it.
