Sunderland Roker pier

Had a walk along this afternoon few people fishing but saw no fish. The sea's a dirty brown colour. Plenty of rubbish and fosters cans knocking about though. Someones even had a fire near the drum end steps. Also a take your "Rubbish Home" sign on the wall and it's still in one piece, not belong before someone sets that on fire.

I was there from 4.30am till 9.30am this morning, only went with daylights and spinning rod and spinners, caught nowt, water was manky, pier was a mess then me and my mate had a little clean up of the round head as it was littered with daylight wrappers and half bottles that had been used for smoking dope!!! Was a bit shocked to find that there actualy!:o

You say this was on Joker pier? All i can say is you're too easily shocked:D

Fished a few hours today 1 til 5ish. Absolutely waste of time. As said above the sea is filthy, a manky brown colour. There was a club comp just starting from St Mary's Middlesbrough when I was packing up. I wouldn't be suprised if a crab won it, cos I never had a knock in 4 hours. :(

Sounds like the old bottle bong to me. I'm sure I should remember more about them, but for some reason my memory is shot to bits.
