Don't think it is the marks so much as encouraging people to travel in what are pretty awful driving conditions. Remember Sunderland are at home on Sunday afternoon and with it being the first Saturday after pay day lots of people will be heading for town to do their christmas shopping so the roads will be very busy anyway, with the snow it is a recipie for chaos

We cancelled the comp. because the sea conditions would have made a lot of the marks too dangerous to fish, also it would have been difficult travelling for anyone coming from out of the area. As Alan said the new dates are Saturday 5th. and Sunday 6th. of Feb. with fishing from 1p.m. to 5p.m. Anyone who have already bought their tickets can use them on the new date or take them back to the shop that they bought them at and get their money back.
