Well i went to fish the afternoon flood at Hendon Prom. Excuse to try out my new cm blackbird i got off a good guy off here. Anyway back to the fishing, it saw me nothing at all, not even one bite! It looked pretty quiet from everyone, although i do not know how it was along the wall/bandstand. I went home determined to get a fish.
Two hours later, i ended up on the end of roker pier for low water. Was the same for the first hour. I decided to use my frozen crab i got off a very friendly old man at hendon. Straight away i was in with my first, all of 4 which were good y'ting. Last cast, i put a huge crab and lug bait on took me 10mins to p1ss about with it lol. I belted this one out straight towards the south pier. 10mins in my RT axe went for a walk scratching it to bits. I picked it up and struck into but my line just snapped instantly.
Must have been that bog monster!
So the good owld whiting saved the day! (again)
