I have a \"Team Daiwa\" baseball cap that I wear all the time when I fish - it\'s my \"lucky\" hat and I always seem to do well when I wear it.
Superstitious nonsense?
Well, I couldn\'t find it in March and went to Whithorn wearing another cap - ended up on the sick for 10 weeks with torn, damaged ligaments and tendons in my ankle and foot.
I\'ve fished all summer and had the sum total of 4 mackerel, again wearing another cap.
Found the \"lucky\" cap again on Monday and I now have 15 mackerel in the freezer for the winter????????
Anybody else got any good luck charms, habits or superstitions when fishing????

Ihave a few.. the first one is if im fishing in the sun. Its my lucky polarized glasses,, I bought them in Canada and the first time I had them on I caught 5 fish in 5 casts,,,My black & white shreddies when I watch Newcastle playalthough at the moment I think they are more black & white with a shade of brown cos of some of the results my lucky Nike cap again more for the sun, I get the most blinding headaches if the sun is in my face+ my old work boots, I\'v had them for years they stick to green algea like super glue &and I dont care if they get a good soaking cos Iv had them for yearsand last gut not least a lucky packet of fags,no brand in particular, just hate going out with anything less than 20 smokes or a 1/2oz of baccy
