come on lads cut the swearing out in your posts. i know some juniors who look on site for info and they shouldnt be reading some of the words posted i.e slatey gut on friday. f word used in full, w------g used several times in full and c--k in its full spelling. perhaps our moderators are slacking in there efforts to erase these posts. i swear with the best of them, but not on this site.

Totally agree, I'll have to mend my ways.
Anyway, fished shields the day and it was.......terrible. The wind was blowing a.........hoolie. Caught dabs, tings and a coalie but that was it.
Heard a report of a lad on the end getting a canny coddie like, I think around 3 o clock and one guy walking off said it was around the 6lb mark.

I completely agree with the swearing but I think the part about the mod is harsh. moderators are a needed part of the forum but so is taking responsibility for what you say. I'm unsure of how many active mod's we have at the minute but say there's 100 threads posted throughout the forum per day and they check all of them what about the 4-70 replies to that thread over the time? That's a lot of stuff to get through (including having to mod the trading post continuously cause people flaunt the simple rules of the site).

Completely Agree there and think all the mods don't get any praise for the job they do on here.

The internet is great but it does have a down side, for example, introducing swearing to the english vocabulary.

i did contact a mod some time ago with a private message about swearing but nothing was done, so i put this post on. nice to see many agree theres too much swearing. this is one of the best sites for info and catch reports, lets not lower ourselves to other sites levels.
