I'll be targeting the brownies on the wee lake,should be enough fly life to get them interested.2000 stocked a couple of years ago,should be some waxers in there now~!!
Hello mate......it was me It wasn't my first time with a fly rod though, I've been flyfishing for a little while now, I just mentioned to a few anglers that came to see my fish that I was mainly a sea angler. It wasn't quite 10lb though, I had another fish of about 3lb also.
It was very hard going though wasn't it? I struggled at first with buzzers and eventualy had my fish quite deep on a cats whisker. I'll post some photos soon.

Great stuff Ian,I never had a touch.Tried everything in the box to no avail,even had a shot from the half submerged casting platform but still nowt!

Just back from Sweethope. Two of us were on the Great Lough, in a boat. 20 rainbows for about 45 pounds, all bar 4 released to fight another day, an boy did they fight! All taken on size 12 viva's on a fast intermediate line.
