Do many of you's use tapered shockleader and if so how do you find them as opposed to buying a spool of shockleader, strength and knot strength etc

Brilliant on clean ground but to be honest tying thin line to another thin line I find it a weak spot and expensive to lose just my opinion and what I have found

i really rate them very highly , but they are very expensive, dont find the knot a weak spot , better for long casting the knot is so small , ideal for lifting fish over the prommy wall , as the leader is very long and is allready on your reel, when your lifting the fish , if they were cheaper i would use them all the time

use them with braid main line as get a much smaller and neater knot
as said previously also means you usualy have leader on the reel before you have to lift up the wall and its much easier to hand ball than braid!
give a musch smother cast than just having 60/70lb right through the leader
