headed out teatime for a few hours on roker pier on the way down a thought shud i give my mate stu a knock see if he fancied a few hours out ,nope a drove on 
,felt a bit guilty so a turned round and went to hes yup he was game for another thrashing i decided just to hit the wear for some flattys so the crane mark it was but space was allready taken by 3 other lads ,so i opted for under the alex bridge a mark i fished last year and only had one flounder out then
was only 2nd cast i gets a nice tug on the rod followed by a slack liner good signs of a flounder and it measured 40cm,s took on fresh crab
stu was into coalies from the off around 24cm,s average sizes
next cast i had another good size out 36cm,s
and last cast to finished the day off a 29cm flounder and quite a few coalies we had too but poor stu cudnt find any flounder at all today
oh there was a tempted jumper on the bridge today also we had to drive over town bridge to get there cos it was blocked off
