Well lads i know this is allready in the shore fishing section but i have a couple more photos so ill make a report.

The plan was to set of to king eddies to the right hand side but when we arrived it was still cut off, so we went wandering and Davy (blanked Again) decided on the crawlies.

For the first 3 hours i was getting bite after bite, strong, slack liners with no connections. But then, it just went slack, 20 turns on the handle later and i was caking it... Cracking fight, legs turning to jelly, couldnt bait up after as my hands were shaking. But WOOOOOO!

PS, this fish was returned alive safe and well

Let's hope so. If the weather is windy next month when we are down, we might have to try for the elusive cod off the shore. Now that would be worth watching, two total amatuers fishing off the shore with all the wrong gear and Stevie doing his best to help us, in between peeing himself laughing! :red:
