ihi lads im not condoning anyone taking on debt but there is a great deal kicking about there at the moment on a credit card, our lass has just got me one and i will be using it to buy bits and pieces off e bay and tackle shops.the money in the jar goes into the bank every month.the deal we have got is interest free for eighteen months then it reverts to 17.7% on the outstanding balance,as i will have no outstanding balance cos the money is being banked and the minimum repayment will be met every month and paid off in full towards the end of the free interest period.i have had no balance to transfer from a previous credit card but you can transfer the balance of your old one for a charge of 1.5% then 18 months interst free.as i have already said i dont condone anybody using this facility to run up debt, just keep an eye on the balance and make sure you put into the bank every month what you have spent to save for the final pay off,the added benefit is that everything you buy is then insured through the credit card company, any of you lads want the info pm me and i will give you the details, but be warned you have to have a good to excellent credit rating, cheers chris
