It was a good series and showed the vast difference between the large trawlers and the smaller, more sustainable day boats.
I wonder what he’ll do next, after fishing and farming, mining perhaps?

another touchie subject big sid m8, it depends where they put them, yes, the netters pay for the right to fish the sea, so they have can do as they please, but last year, the gentleman who puts his nets parrellel with blyth pier, and he knows me ! , was on a couple of occations a bit close, people were catching the net when spinning, this proberbly caused damage to the nets, but also many people lost gear. now, before there`s a full scale war, the tide may have brought the net in. remember , opinions.
