Me & Ronny went hoping to bag up on Mackie for the Freezer. Got there & fishing about 9am & only about 8 on there, surprised to say the least. No one on the end either.:o
The fishing slowed shortly after we got there, it didnt stop the hoards gradually descending on the place though.

Ronny fished a Spinner & 2 Daylights & was into fish first cast. I was using just a Spinner on its own & also was into a Fish first cast which i lost up the wall. After losing another 3 in the same way i moved to the RH side where i managed just 3 more before leaving at 1pm. Ron had 10 i think.
The water was reasonably clear at first but gradually got coloured, probably down to the bloody Dredger. Lads said the night before had been very good. Typical.
As we were walking off, someone had thrown 6 Fish off the top level, leaving them to Bake in the Sun. Bloody Morons. I had to pick them up & throw them into the Sea. WTF couldnt they just drop them back in? I dread to think what their offspring will be like.
Only need another 15 or so & then i can stay away from the mayhem for another Year. :)

Nice one mate, i fished it yesterday morning and caught nowt but the sun so a few fish is better than nowt ;)

I was in two minds where to go on Friday but I think it will be South Shields. Nowt against the Heugh just think further out to sea and the chance of picking up a Pollack.

Chut, Lunny & I fished Seaham pier. Mill pond flat sea, gin clear water, blazing sun. About a dozen or more on the pier. Fished from 07:30 until 11:00. Four macky and a sandeel between us. Only about a dozen fish caught amongst us all. Very poor. Roll on Craster next week. :-)
