going to the lakes on the 19th October pike fishing i will be near bassenthwaite thirlmere ullswater and keswick which of these lakes is the best to fish on for pike any help will be appreciated thanks j.j

iv only ever fished derwent meself....had a 10lber from the far side of in about 4ft of water deadbaiting. also the river running out of the lake that runs through the camp site on the side closest to the town, had a 7lber on a roach bait there. dunno if its a noted pike mark because i just winged it when i was there really and managed a few fish, might be worth a go?
