well my brother hasjust got back from a short trip out he managed 3 macky and about 40 coalies aswell as 8 cod to 6lb here is a little taster of whats to come

I'm looking forward to the mackerel for a couple of trips to get stocked up 
., after that they become a nuisance in my opinion

yes but that is ten in each sitting I take it , breakfast, lunch, dinner, Monday to Sunday, might have a break for a haddock some time.

yes mate on the bait - would have been during the summer on a 3rd of a mackeral fillet strip and 6/0 circle hook so definately a fluke. They from what i remember they were all caught towards the end of drifts on different wrecks. There is a pic on here in one on northeast1 posts.

Are you going to "target" them or just hope you catch one fishing fo cod? I'd like to catch a haddock or 90 as well , but I wouldn't know where to start as far as targeting them goes , I could catch a ling, a cod , a pollock , a mackerel and a coalie to order ( might catch one or two of the others trying
) but a haddock????

I use the word target loosely Ray, my target last year was a double figure cod, Ter got one, i didn't . I'll just hope i get one while targeting the cod and targeting the ling and targeting the pollock, etc,
