aye Chris but not for the last couple of seasons, not sure if maybe not many around or simply I`ve been fishing more offshore recently.
Never antyhing big only 1.5 - 2lb at best but haddok nevertheless.
I`m sure others on here will agree it "used" to be souter area for haddock ..... worth a go mate if your after an extra species.
I'm concentrating on shads over wrecks this season (or at least I`m targeting that but you know how it is .... someone catches on rag and thats it everyone changes )
I'm going to wait and see what the wind is like, nothing to do with the chineese i'm having tonight , i've always hated wind when fishing if on the boat or the beach or the reservoir, i'm keeping an open mind and an eye on Magic Seaweed (30 mph gusts ).
But Souter is definately on the cards at some point, maybe tomorrow .
Going to grab some cans and take 1 lead and 1 set of daylights, wont take a bag and may start smoking as i am having my first day spinning on the pier today since July last year
Was going to take the boat out but feel a shore caught mackerel (if i am lucky) would be abit of a nice change.
