ooops ... but like I said all was noted, but joking apart Wigan are a smashing footballing outfit and i for one did not see this as an easy game for yous, because when they came to ours they were good. I am glad they look as if they are not going down because the prem needs to have good teams.
i have had, and will continue to have, a season ticket for 40 years now, including dark days with Mc menamy and the old third division. In fact if I ever wanted to emigrate I would still renew if not going. i will die having this loyalty to my team.
However my brother is NUFC season ticket holder and we still love each other, this is the way it is in Shields and I am proud of that.
Keep the faith, no matter what your religion, if it is Jedi (SAFC) or the dark side (NUFC).
Bet it wasn't 4-0 Wigan!
Got a quid on the match again...fairly outrageous so won't admit what it is unless I win![]()
I thought it would be 2-2 but out played in every area and the flair players not got a chance to shine, closed down well.
just got back, we were s*$t. god help us in europe. !
Im pretty sure when Liverpool won it in 2005 the top four still went through . Liverpool were left to qualify against 2 easy teams. If I remember rightly everton claimed fourth that yr and got trounced by valencia. So it cant be 1 rule for lfc and another for the chelski rent boys. Hope nufc get fourth now its outa lfcs hands
Truth is you have been s###e a good few times this season but you always seem to get away with it, against Wigan you didn't.we were s+++e from front to back, was a good day oot though. (knackered this morn)

Well, mon noir et blanc amis (french for black and white friends .... posh eh!)
Can't wait for ya predictions, and/or bets for wednesday's game, after the one's for saturday lol.
Bet not many gannin doon, at £50 to £70 per ticket.
There are 2 sets of their fans, as was talkin 2 one not long ago ... there are the posh solicitors, and city boys who can afford home games and season tickets, ... and normal loyal fans that go to away games only as it works out the same, at about £25 per ticket, £15 for trip, and cheap beer out of London.
Settle for 6th eh!
i bet all the smb's would settle for sixth............... Ha ha ha
but your'e more interested in nufc than "your" very average team, there were approx 6000 of us at wigan, been to man utd, villa, blackburn, man city away games this season, and no trip has cost me less than £100 inc. Tickets, fuel , bus , food & drink, worth every penny every time, win lose or draw.
Not like the smb's who can't even fill their own stadium.....
Choose cheesy chips & panda pop, choose no airport, choose your tourist attraction being a centre for glass, choose the ripper hoaxer, choose 2 home derby wins in 32 years, choose having webbed feet and six toesd, choose less games & goals in europe than shola, choose being relegated with record low points.....twice, choose smb, choose 5under1and, not me i chose the geordies, choose newcastle united.
