thank god mine just likes ..............me being out of the house....

Tell me your secret Rob.............Please!

I was a very occasional fisherman who went out, maybe 4 times a year (in a dinghy), with my pal.

Then one fateful time, when Lynn and I were discussing what to do on an unexpectedly sunny day, I happened to ask if she would like to try fishing.

She said yes, so we went, with light gear, to a stocked trout loch......................The rest is history.

From that day of fishing in our shorts and T-shirts, we now go 3 times a year to the NE, get kitted out in floatation suits and fish on a boat, miles out to sea in a big wind and huge tides in the pouring rain and catch no fish.

How did it come to this?

Hehe. Hope we manage to all get a day's fishing on North Star in October.

A night out at The Ship Inn, with partners, dinner and drinks sounds like a great idea too. Let me know, Lynn is keen to meet some women for a change!! :D
