Had a run up the coast last night in search of cod. Arrived at my usual location only to find 3 lads already there. Most unusual as I never normally see a soul. Started wandering up the rocks and noticed a postman's bag on the rocks. Thought to myself, hmmm, I used to know someone who used one of those for fishing. It couldn't be, could it? Then one of the lads turned round and low and behold it was micky Burke, the very same chap. Micky always used to say that I brought him luck. On the evidence of last night it's true. Me and the other 2 lads blanked, but mr Burke stole the show with 3 cod for 13lb, 2 coalies and 2 decent fish lost on the way in. Although I caught nowt, it was good to catch up with Mick and nice to see him have a good night. Well done mate, nice to see you.
