Wouldnt take a great deal of notice of the crap the tabloids spew out,The beast from the east they were talking about last time amounted to a day of east winds and a few hailstones.
However there is some truth in this one,at least for this weekend and well into next week,there will be snow,but how much and where it falls is difficult to forecast until a couple of days before...Temperatures are starting to drop now and it will become very cold by the weekend and into next week......

They were that good with their predictions they introduced a hosepipe ban down south in March. It's never stopped raining since.

The long range forecast on Netweather.tv - Weather forecasts, news and information for the UK released in November predicted a cold start to December before turning mild and wet. They also said it would turn cold mid January possible lasting into early February. They've been spot on so far...

XC weather says the same so it is definitely forecast to turn colder over the next few days but the forecast of snowmageddon from the tabloid press is probably pushing thigs a bit far.

Now if the cold spell is coupled with some nice northerly winds...

Why worry about it after all it is still winter anglers don't know how good they have it these days, back in the 70's - 80's we used to break through the ice in your bucket just to get to your bait even seen the high water line freeze as the tide ebbed and your line do the same as it come out of the water
