The windy walkway

Fished the walkway yesterday for a few hours that I had and it was a mare with the wind, there was 4 other people fishing when I got there at 10am but they swiftly left.

I decided to grit my teeth and fish on but couldn't detect bites and adopted to a 15 minute bait out rule, this turned into 5 minutes after a while of clean hooks coming back. I gave up about 1pm the tide pull was really strong and the wind was too uncomfortable for me, this little fella saved me a blank.

It had to be done mate, I might see yas down there, me and the bairn have planned the night down there but it depends whether or not the wind dies down. If I don't see ya there good luck with the fishing for you 2.

We'll be down down there tonight, Hope some better fish come in, had nothing but tiny whiting the past couple of times we've been there. Hoping for a few nice size codling.. I know it wont happen but you have to hope

How did you lads get on down there,? I was on the corner with my son we managed 5 good sized whiting. It was well busy with more people turning up all the time, we decided to head home not long after 9 after an hour of nothing but the odd bite.

Was just the usual small whiting down there from what I could see, Few good size codling came in as well. All I managed was to lose a load of gear and nest my reel :\ Not the best night for me but everyone else seemed to have a good night
