This Weekend I Have Been Mostly......

I had a look out yesterday, fished a few wrecks, plotted a few new ones, lost a few rigs, caught nowt. Still it was great to be out again, I thought it would be busy out there but no one else was around.

Still suffering with an electrical problem, the engine doesn’t like turning over when warmed up so I need to start checking the battery cables and connections. That was the plan for today, along with scrubbing the decks to get a winter’s worth of muck of Wor Lass. Despite spending a couple of hours at the marina, mostly chatting in the other lads in their boats "the man sheds" as my wife call them it didn’t happen but there’s always next week for that and all the other little jobs.

Anyone else been out or up to much?

Might be a good idea to remove the starter motor and give it a strip, clean and rebuild!, had a similar problem some time ago and that was my problem, worth a try, nothing worse than being "out there" and engine not starting.

It’s not bad enough to drive me to the drink, yet. I’ll work through it step-by-step and get it sorted soon; it will give me something to do waiting for the season to start.
