Torness ??

was wondering if anyone has fished Torness up in Scotland lately?
thinking about having a trip up to fish it on a low on Sunday.

we were up there a cpuple of weeks ago,stillvery quiet,odd schoolie on lures from behind power station,but nowt else.

This is the best time of year for the outlet, but It gets hammered now.
Not only the Chinese lads, now theres quite a lot of Eastern europeans fish it as well and nowt goes back.......

I though EA deemed this to be a nursery area which would mean specifically targeting bass would be an offence. I might be wrong but certainly worth a call to check it out

ya right there mate i used to go up about 17 year ago was lifting with bass then, but foreigners have hammered it now, they even take fish 5 inches long

they want slashing though.ive seen them take bass well under size.im up all the time with the lures and i get alot off bass but never have i took any home just go for the sport and the fight they give you ....

yeah there was a couple of chinese there spinning when we were there.catching small bass and keeping them.....probably why its been fished out,
