Hi everyone
I've been and bought a trail camera for recording wild life both day and night and thought I'd post my first recording on here for a laugh.
The camera has some canny qualities, so once I've read the instructions properly, I'm hoping the recordings will improve.

nice one dude theyre gettin more popular now for catching flytippers ect nestrobbers are getting caught aswell ,ive got one on my easter eggs incase billynobaits robs them haha

The camera I have is the Bushnell 12MP Nature view Cam Essential HD - Low Glow - Green.
It has some very good reviews as a starter/intermediate camera.
I paid £119.00 from Uttings, without SD card and batteries.
It comes with a strap, but I have bought some 360 degree flexible camera mounts and fitted them on top of 3/4" metal stakes of various lengths and placed them in different areas of the garden.
I've just got my first night footage of some field mice in the garden last night, very entertaining.

Yes, they are certainly being put to many other uses other than capturing wildlife.

cheers John, got a few clips of the mice as they rob the peanuts out the bird feeder, some on here I think, taken with my camera, sometimes have a stakeout with the grandson, he,s only seven so we get the camo gear and nets out and sit and watch them. have to say that is very reasonably priced and the images are very good, will let you keep up the good work don't want you missing anyhting if I borrow it, got a birthday coming up so a few people might be getting a hint.
