well me nd a couple of mates are of to the mull tomorrow its me first time fishing over there has anyone been latel if so wats the fishing like at the moment wats top baits to use and best areas to fish cheers info apreshiated

fogot to ask what rod shall a take beachcasters or spinning gear

Just got back mate, we stappoed at West Tarbet bay as winds were easterly.

Take spinning and float gear if you ar going to this part as its very rocky on the bottom.

Loads of pollack and wrasse over past two days.

Good luck lads. I would take spinning rod. You can spin for pollock and mackie and float fish for pollock , wrass, mackie,bass. Then If you wish you use a 2oz weight and a size 1-1/0 hook with mackie on to get doggies. You should have a good time up there. If not much doing try the pier at drumore there you will get bass, pollock, mackie. But only at high tide.
