Picked these up tonight, thought I would give them a go next time out. Whenever that will be. Thanks to les from newbiggan for making them up for me. Really good quality and value for money, let's hope they do the business.

Good value Mark, and look spot-on. Just need these sodden winds to drop and put them to the test mate. Could be Wed morning for me, or Friday.

.dont know much about boat fishing, but they look the part {blue my choice}.but why does les have to spend extra money on top split rings, when i would of thought just a snaplink swivel added to shad would do the job..

I recently bought a 5oz mould and the plasti coat powder from UK hooks. Really easy to use and it roughly works out at about 60p to make each one. Instead of using a treble i use two semi circle 4/0 assist hooks with mini muppets tied to 150lb assist braid (a kind of kevlar cord). It really reduces the amount you loose with snagging on the bottom, also 90% of fish are hooked right in the scissors. will put a pic up later if i remember! They are great for shallow reef work. Considering getting an 8/9oz one for deeper work.
