Had a spare couple of hours this morning, so headed to the rough ground off Whitley.
Like last outing, just used a single metal sprat lure. Fish first drop, and over and over again, but nothing bigger than one pound. Then Tommy, in his boat, kingfisher 2 pulled along side, and while talking to him, a good Fish took my lure, at times, taking line of against the clutch. And whehey, a nice pollock which weighed 6lb 3 oz. Quite a few more fish followed, again, mostly small codling, but two I kept at 2lb plus . Also a couple of wrasse and pouting.
