we drove from seaham up to tunstall on monday read notice saying day permits at wolsingham post office drove back down to let them say no we dont sell them lol :casstet: :casstet:

if i go anywhere and not sure where to get a day permit, i just go along to the water and there is nearly always somebody there fishing who you can ask. Thats if there is not a machine or a kiosk. The other way is to start fishing and wait until somebody turns up and hopes he believes you when you expalin you have not got a permit because you dont know where to get one. Most places should at least have a sign saying where to get one.
Phoning the loacl tackle shop is also a good bet or even the Environment Agency
