Unfortunately, there are 3 people down on the North Team list who are now unable to take part in next Sundays\' comp.
If there\'s anybody wants to take their places, let me know ASAP.
I\'ll take the 1st 3 names I recieve.

Tony, in view of these North lads chickening out...sorry withdrawing ;) , to make it fair, why don\'t we just let Sless fish for the south side with a handline and crab sticks for bait :D

Can they join in??..........part of the rules of the comp will state quite clearly that a lit cigarette must be permanently in all contestants mouths during the hours of the competition :exclam:

Cheers Willo - got you down on the list.

1 place filled
2 places left

tony if you want, if the numbers dont balance, i TOTALLY do NOT mind sitting it on the side lines, i would still come with you etc but just watch and go for the craic, DONT MIND AT ALL

p.s i am loaded with the flu at the minute anyhow tony, but would still tag along if needed mate, i wouldnt mind 1 bit.

Sorry to hear about ya flu Jonny (I had a bit of it meself last week).

I\'m not at all bothered about the numbers \"balancing\" m8. As I said in a previous post in the Tyne Challenge Area, the teams ARE now balanced (43 per team). By asking for another couple of \"players\" for the North Team, I was only giving the opportunity for them to join in due to some people having to drop out.

There\'s ABSOLUTELY no need for anyone to drop out in an effort to keep the teams equal in number, m8. As far as I\'m concerned, you\'re still taking part in the comp - but if, due to flu, you don\'t feel up to it nearer the time - don\'t worry about having to miss it - there\'s always the next one - the one where the South Team will be defending the trophy ;)

Fishingforcod.............If you\'ve read the stuff in the Tyne Challenge area and want to take part for the North Team, can you please let me know ASAP.

[I thought the SOUTH team needed a miracle (or several I have been told) to win the comp]

Grommit We have more than several miracles fishing on our side.
In any case all we are hoping for is there are plenty of codling around and we will win hands down.
The north side stand a chance to win is if there are not many fish around and they come back with the odd lucky fish.
if there\'s a sea on i am sticking my neck out and predicting a win by the South Side.
If your lucky enough to beat us ( cos thats what it will be if you win) it will take more than luck to beat us on our home ground.

:D :D :D :D [/quote]
