tyne last night

fished the tyne last night or should that be the crab tyne every 10 mins bait gone altho i did manage 3 codling 1 n a half pound (all returned alive) and 1 whiting .. what i did witness was spooky now i dunno if it was a dog in the water as i could hear a bark ... then loads of splashing growling then selience .. i hoping it was seals and probably was . but would a seal grab a dog in the water im not sure as this dog was barking half the night . and after the the comotion nothing...

Nice one mate ya managed a few out past the crabs me and mate fished yesturday only crabs for us poor it was.

Fished Glasshouse street last night short session from 7.30 until 9.30pm.

Had 2 crabs (1 had to be prized off the hook) and 1 Flattie - just shy 2 pounds, carefully unhooked and flipped back in to fight another day.

must`ve been the same story up that way last night as i was fishing the gateshead side of the river,opposite spillers.Bait did`nt have a chance with the crabs riving at it,had one bite all night.
