Fished the tyne last night to try and get a bit shelter from that strong wind and managed 5 cod out biggest was 4lb 8oz and others were just over 3 pound also put 2 back around the 2pound mark new pb bag of just under 15 pound , my 2 mates Aaron (scaley) and Jon both had cod aswell.

cheers lads and it was the mouth of the tyne there was a good swell coming into the river i would imagine the groyne at sheilds or even the start of the pier would have produced aswell last night but just wanted to try somewhere different.

aye johnny was a cracking seshion mate me and john hit the same spot tonight, loads of fish up to 6.5lb, 5lb. john had two around the 4lb mark one about 3 and one about 1.5lb i was in the same spot as last night the windless crap one hahaa managed one out sea was huge and the wind was really naughty but a good seshion
