Tynemouth Haven

Fished last night from mid low to mid high into the Haven from the rocks opposite the pier.

1st throw both my mate & myself got a knock at the exact same time, my mate got his cod in at a nice 3.8 (unhooked about 10ft from getting in so i jumped in shallow water to get it). I lost mine then all went quiet for an hour or so.

Then i got a knock & brought in a flatty just under 2lb. Next cast a nice 3.4 cod. the next 2 hours was non stop & an overall excellent night.

Lost a lot of gear but was worth it. Bait used was rag
