have decided to now head for the pier tomorrow morning ....sod work .......im trying for a john dory....if not mackerel / pollack /coalie will do ....to the pier......got a new abu rod to try out too........whoopty do

its a shame nobody knows who the young lad is,a canny start to fishing catching a john dory up here and getting your photo in the paper all on your first fishing trip

it is also the first I have recorded caught from the shore from Scarbrough to Berwick, get the word out lads he needs to be contacted.

i would just like to ask as last summer i say some sandeels swimming around and amongst them form what i can see from the top of the pier is a a greenish big fish which i think are garfish .....some one said they were launce... but i could not be sure. did try float fishing for them but no joy last yr ....maybe this yr ....
