just thought i'd let u's all know how the day went,
early start 4 us & 4 those of u's that dont know my back garden backs on2 the cemetry & it just so happens that mark was burried just over my fence. still very close 2 us
it was a very busy day 4 all, between 350-400 people turned out. all of about 150 followed us in the car down the street with marks favourite things in there hands, windmills.
susan gibbson (the spiritualist) did us proud with the service & many joined in singing marks favourite tunes ( u'll never walk alone) it always brought a tear 2 marks eye's when he heard it
we also had donations instead of flowers 4 people out side of the immediate family & we raised 700 pounds 4 his youth club wich includes
a mark jacobs memorial trophy 4 the highest sports achiever of the year.
mark was also the youth clubs football mascott.
many single roses & over 50 windmills went along with mark, that would have made mark very happy. i also said if mark had his own way he would have been happy'er with a wind turbine planted at his feet
never had so many people in my house at 1 time it was like b-ing crambed in at the match.
still has'nt sunk in that he has passed yet, we r still getting family from morning 2 night so just have'nt had time 2 sink in yet, but it will
thanks bill

I was there and it was a great site to see the windmills raised many a smile.
Oddly as i told Wendy i went down on the morning and bought a single red rose button hole as a splash of colour as was asked for.
He had a great turn out that showed if you ever needed proof just how much he was loved.
Wish i could have stayed but knew i wouldn't get in the church and my wife was ill so had to get back.
I stuck an envelope through your door today, didn't want to intrude plus both myself and the wife are still stuck with this horrible cold, did not want to pass that on,hope that was ok.
You fancy a trip out to drown some worms and teach me some tricks let me know,be a break for all.
Best wishes to you all.
